Out of the tube, on to food!

PET scan today is done and went very well (for those unfamiliar, you are injected with a radioactive serum and then lay in this long tube), and now on to food! Because you have to fast prior to, honestly all I could think about in that machine was what I could eat for lunch. This picture is a representation of just how generous Ryan and I's support system is. THANK YOU to everyone who has given/sent gift cards or made a meal train commitment or donation. Being able to have meals before and after appointments, and then of course during the times I'm not well after chemotherapy treatments- it's a blessing ❤️

I didn't post for chemotherapy treatment #4. The treatment went well and there was not much new to report- so I did not want to post just for the sake of posting. Especially with it being the day before Thanksgiving. Ryan and I just decided to lay low for the holiday, didn't travel, etc. Thankfully I wasn't too sick on Thanksgiving day and we were welcomed by the family of the Parker's for the holiday meal. It was delicious and good social time, but I may have overdone it as I came home and promptly slept for almost 4 hours straight-woke up- and then went back to bed and slept till 9am the next morning.

Not because I like pictures of myself, but because I like consistency- picture below holding up 4 fingers for the 4th treatment.

Thursday is treatment #5 AND hopefully results from the PET scan today. Prayers for good news which would be that the lumps and masses are getting smaller indicating chemo is doing what it should be doing 👍🏾

(Oh! P.S: For all who have asked or are curious, I still have hair. 🙂 It's DEFINITELY thinning and I'm noticing loss, but it's not gone! A praise there as well. Even my students have asked, "Miss Harris, not to be rude, but when ya gonna loose your hair?" And I just keep saying, "Well it's still here so it's not gone yet !🤷🏽‍♀️" I think they secretly want their teacher to walk in bald one day....)
